Late Victorian / Federation, Cottage W/ Georgian Influences
No 95 (previously known as No 173) and 97 Hubble Street are a duplex constructed in rendered masonry with a hipped corrugated iron roof and a tiled roof verandah. The pair of houses in the Federation Bungalow have been adapted in the Post-World War II era. It is symmetrically planned with a full width skillion roofed verandah supported on concrete columns and masonry pier. The piers are linked by a rendered balustrade wall.
1930 DEATH- On August 2, at the Fremantle Hospital, David Rae, beloved husband of Annie Rae, of 173 Hubble-street, East Fremantle; aged 60 years. The Friends of the late Mr. David Rae, of the Fremantle Harbour Trust, and of 173 Hubble-street, East Fremantle, and formerly of Warrnambool, Victoria, are respectfully invited to follow his remains to the place of interment, the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fremantle.
