ARCHITECTURE

No. 21 Allen Street is a single storey house constructed in brickwork and rendered brick with a hipped and gable corrugated iron roof. It is an unusual expression of the Federation Bungalow style. The front elevation is asymmetrically planned with an offset front door and hopper light flanked by side lights and a double hung sash window. The facade features a bull nosed roofed verandah running between two gabled bays. The verandah is set on turned timber posts. The gable bays feature sets of three casement windows with hopper lights. The windows are under bull nosed awnings. There are rendered strings in the brickwork.
