HISTORY
1933 Funeral. The funeral of the late Mr. William Burnside, of 61 Staton road, East Fremantle, took place in the Presbyterian portion of the Fremantle Cemetery on Sunday afternoon. The late Mr. Burnside was an old and respected resident of Fremantle, and was born at Killyberry, Bellaghy, Country Derry, Ireland. He came to Australia 47 years ago and had lived in Fremantle for 37 years, during which he was in business there until retirement in 1932. Mr. Burnside was an enthusiastic member of Scots Church...Among those present were the Mayor of North Fremantle (Mr. A. Turton), the Mayor of East Fremantle (Mr. J. Munro)... Alex and W. McKee.
